The team’s brief was to remodel this property to a glamorous family house with all the 21st Century domestic toys: gym, pool, home spa, cinema and so on, incorporating the latest audio visual technology and mechanics.
The Kensington Town House project is a good example of living at a level of contemporary luxury in a period framework. Behind an icing sugar white stucco Victorian facade, this townhouse is now the quintessential mix of classic and contemporary.
Layering on top of a neutral background is Joanna’s trademark; Joanna and the team loved the process of creating a warm, enveloping elegance by playing on a chosen colour palette in textiles, cushions, table lamps and furnishings.
This project won the ‘Design et Al’ Best Bathroom Award for 2010.
